Standard Design Features

The open radial blade is strong for severe induced draft service (heavy chips, sawdust, etc.) which may require wear plates and housing liners. The wheel is the simplest of all centrifugal fans and is the least efficient. It has high mechanical strength which delivers high pressure characteristics. Used primarily for material-handling applications in industrial plants. The wheel is sometimes coated with special material. This design can be used for high-pressure industrial requirements.
